I love Almond butter! It is such a good form of healthy fats and protein. Although we must becareful with it due to its high calorie content, this recipes gives us the perfect amount ans balances protein, carbs, and fats for a great mid afternoon snack
You will love them!
1 cup all unsalted almond butter
3/4 cup splenda ( I notice alot of people use splenda but I recommend using stevis, it is a natural sweetener and is much better for you! I used the concentrated drops and just fill the dropper twice or so with stevia)
2 egg whites or 1 large egg
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4tsp sea salt
3-4oz of whatever you would like such as rasians, dried apricots, dark chocolate chips.. I usually dont put anything just to keep the carbs low
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder ( I use MRM…. It is the best!)
Mix all ingreients well.
Use non stick cooking spray and drop tablespoon or so on the baking sheet
Bake for 10-12min and let cool.
If dough is to dry add a splash of water tell you get the right consistency needed.
